CC Sand is mainly used in sand mold casting such as the production of cold box cores, coated sand, 3D printing, Lost Foam Casting, resin sand, sodium silicate process and recycled sand etc.
CC Sand is used for 3D printing casting, and the diesel cylinder head castings are free from sand?adhering and veining?defects, and the FPY is higher than that of the castings with silica sand. For larger machine tool castings, CC Sand is easy to clean, and because of the low expansion coefficient, the inner cavity of the casting is not easy to form veining defects.
In the development and application of special precoated sand, CC Sand has better performance of high temperature pressure and heat resistance time and expansion character, and less tendency of core deshelling, which steadily meets the core making process and casting cavity quality demand of our high-end product cylinder head water channel core.
